Over the past few seasons we have had the opportunity to also hunt hungarian partridge in the areas where we hunt pheasants. This past two years we have taken the partridge hunt to a whole new level. For those shooting enthusiasts who couldn't get enough we now offer a special afternoon partridge only hunt. When we return to the lodge from the pheasant hunt, we regroup and head for the hills.
There have always been plenty of extra shooting opportunities for those who finished pheasant hunting early but nothing like this! Through the rolling hills between the lodge and the Missouri River we have fenced out the cattle and let Mother Nature help us develop wonderful yet challenging habitat for the partridge. With the success and feedback from our guests we will continue to offer this opportunity.
